Kettlebell complexes can be used as a fantastic way to build endurance. Complexes are a series of exercises performed one after another for a certain amount of repetitions with no rest in between the different exercises. They are great for burning calories and targeting fat loss also.
The Big Three
7 reps Deadlift
7 reps Swing
7 reps Goblet Squat
This complex emphasises the lower body more than the upper body so it can be very demanding. Rest for a few minutes after performing one set and then repeat for as many times as required.
For a Spartan workout, do 10 reps of each exercise and do the complex for 10 sets. This will result in a total of 300 (get it?) total exercise repetitions. Cloak and helmet are optional.
