There are many effective ways to get in shape without the use of any weights or exercise machines. But if you are looking for something different or are want to take your training to the next level, investing in a kettlebell could be the answer you are looking for and can potentially save you money.
Time = Money
Generally, gym memberships are quite pricey these days. You may already be a gym member paying monthly but not getting the chance to go due to time constraints or low motivation. It takes time to get ready for the gym, travel to the gym and then go back home in which time you could have already worked out and be doing something more productive with your time. Money can come and go but our time is finite so we must make sure we make the most of it. Approximately half a months gym membership cost could be used to purchase a kettlebell instead (depending on the weight) and you can use it for the rest of your life. You can exercise at home or outside and fill your lungs with some good old fresh oxygen.
What if it gets too easy?
You may be asking after buying and training with a kettlebell, what happens when it’s not challenging for you anymore? Well there are plenty of options for you. You can change your grip or hold the kettlebell in one hand rather than two. You could also perform more repetitions or complete your workout in a quicker time. Failing that, you could always buy a heavier kettlebell. Worst case scenario, if you have no use for your kettlebell, you can always sell it as they hold their value and are always in demand due to their popularity.
It goes without saying that a gym will have a lot more facilities and training opportunities, but purchasing a kettlebell for home use is certainly a viable option if money or motivation is an issue.
